Attorney Secures Not Guilty Verdict in Grand Forks Air Base Court-Martial
Houston military criminal defense lawyer Guy L. Womack was featured in an article by the Grand Forks Herald* regarding his successful representation of Master Sgt. Lisa Mashburn in a special court-martial at Grand Forks Air Base that concluded on November 30th, 2010.
Mashburn was found not guilty of dereliction of duty after a two-day trial. Air Force prosecutors had charged Mashburn following an investigation into the August 6th suicide of Airman Cory McCord that revealed negligent security measures in the Base Defense Operations Center where Mashburn was a flight chief.
